Perfectly Pretty Polli.

This is the beautiful Sone` from Polli Blog. I came across Polli Blog before I headed to New Zealand - and fell head over heels in love with everything Sone` wrote about and featured.

I was lucky enough to meet Sone` at the Auckland Art & Craft Fair - she even purchased a piece of That Vintage for herself!

You're So Foxy Little Foxes

That Vintage now has a home among the foxiest of Foxes in New Zealand - thanks to the virtual world! I have spent oodles of time browsing the Foxes website and drooling over the awesome goodies... hmm, what to purchase first? A cute bow hair clip by Hunter Gatherer or a beautiful tea cup bangle by Rekindle?

Put Some Style Milk In Your Cup Of Tea.

The lovely ladies behind Style Milk have now given the That Vintage Tea Party Jewellery range a home online - and the response has been super sweet!
Style Milk are heading to the Finders Keepers market in Brisbane this weekend, having their first ever stall at the event - the girls will have an abundance of Tea Party Rings for the event too - I so wish I could attend!

Pencil and Paper.

Yesterday I felt the need for a couple rest breaks from all of the jewellery orders that had accumulated whilst being away in New Zealand and (the unexpected extended holiday) in Melbourne.
So, with pencil in hand and a sheet of wax light paper, one of my favourite photographs from the shoot with Jesse Hunniford, 20 minutes of sketching ...wella!
At the moment the lovely model Madeline, is in the midst of competing her butt off in the next cycle of Australia's Next Top Model - my fingers and toes are crossed for her!

See You Later Australia, Kia Ora New Zealand.

Well, I did it - I finally packed my suitcases.
It has only taken me a whole week of procrastinating and umming-and-ahhing - but everything is fully packed!
So much stock - so little clothes!
The fair kicks off at 11am on Saturday, 11th of June and winds up at 3pm, located at The Aotea Centre, Auckland central.
And the Frankie crew have got a booty of goodies up for grabs... I suggest you check out this blog entry for more info!

Intricate Goodness.

Last week, Tenille from Eels Jewellery + Scrimshaw + Objects posted a link on her twitter to a custom ring in her Etsy store - it was made from white bone and engraved with a heart design. I adored it. But I adored her ship illustrations more so.
So I requested a custom ring - black with a ship.
And wella!
It is much more beautiful in real life (my photographs don't do it justice) - the level of detail, the way the image feels when you touch it - you can tell that it would take someone with an immense amount of talent and patience to complete such a small piece.
Tenille is also featured in the latest issue of *bespoke*

Hope And Me.

Launceston lovers of beautiful shops can now find That Vintage in at Hope & Me. Lindi is such a sweet lady, she has welcomed That Vintage with open arms - creating a beautiful display space within in her store by recreating the Winter Woods scenes as the backdrop!

A Day Of Love.

Meet Bethanie and Clint Leonard.
They tied the lovey-dovey-marriage knot last week in a beautiful, Autumnal and intimate ceremony at the Josef Chromy Winery.
They are the creative souls behind Cheese House Productions, with oodles of talent between them both.
They picked the also very talented Ebony of Caught A Glimpse Photography, to take their photographs on their day of love.
They also picked That Vintage jewellery pieces to adorn themselves with; the Iron Dove Pendant and Sweet Dove Earrings for Bethanie and Winter Woods Part I Cufflinks for Clint.
How gorgeous are they both?!

Ornate, Baby.

These little vintage glass ornate earrings will be available at next weeks Auckland Art & Craft Fair - available in black, powder blue, mustard and burnt red.
I'm super excited for the journey over and hanging out with the crew at the fair, plus see my relatives - but boy oh boy, time has really flown...!
