Polly put a kettle on, my favourite way to enjoy a cup of tea is.. rugged up next to the outdoor fire pot, enjoying the company of friends and family. Winter nights may be cold but I have found them to be surprisingly harmonious and beautiful, especially with a hot tea in hand.

ReplyDeleteMy job is busy and although I love it, it can be hectic. At times I am in need of a simple luxury – a little treat and the remedy for such a moment – a hot cup of tea.
It is the action of taking the time to slow down... to savor what you are sipping. It is important for me to take 15 minutes out of my day to pause... take a breath... maybe have a goosy gander at peppermint mag and savour a cup of T2 Gorgeous Geisha.
We need to take time out for ourselves. Our bodies and minds will thank us.

ReplyDeleteHaving 1 year old triplet girls, Tess, Emily & Ashleigh (TEA! ;), it has been a very rare opportunity this last year to finish a cup of tea while it's still at least luke warm!
