Get Your Mitts On This One.

If you would like to have the chance to score the new Feather & Lace Birdcage Pendant - then head to Winter Love's blog!
Natalie is a dear friend of mine and has recently joined the blogging world, so to help get her blog out there and to encourage people to follow and interact with her beautiful ramblings - Winter Love is hosting a That Vintage giveaway...
Tell her I sent you!

Playing In The Kitchen.

I found some clay.
I got my hands dirty.
The end result being That Vintage pieces made from clay - the ones pictured above are for earrings - "embossed" with That Vintage designs. The doves in the last picture show that the woodgrain from the wood has come through onto the clay - it looks pretty nifty; needless to say I'm pretty chuffed with how they have turned out!
These babies will be available at Niche: All Wrapped Up.
Are you coming?

Picked By The People - Part Twelve.

Another look at three more cleverly curated treasury lists from Etsy featuring a piece of That Vintage.
It is so lovely to see the new lace designs getting a bit of treasury-treatment!

All Laced Up.

This morning I finished off the new That Vintage Lace Wrap Bangles.
I don't want to part with these - and I most certainly can not pick a favourite...
Luckily I am planning to make oodles of these for the next Niche: All Wrapped Up market event.
Oh lace, I'm so in love with you!

Lace For Your Craving.

Lace.
Obsession at the moment? Yes.
Here are a few of my favourite "lace" search results on Etsy.

Picked By The People - Part Ten.

A couple more treasury lists curated by Etsy users, featuring a piece of That Vintage - cute and clever themes once again!

What Girls Get Up To On Saturday Nights.

Last weekend, I temporarily moved the factory over to one of my best friends' house - Natalie's lounge room to be exact. Lauren (Leaves & Stems) also joined us for the productive evening... it was quite a change from what you'd normally expect 20-something-year-old girls would be getting up to on a Saturday night!
Natalie has written an in-depth and rather cute blog post about our night in the temporary-factory!
*hint hint* you should also follow her blog... something is coming up!

Free Australian postage is still on offer until the end of this month - quick sticks!

The Little Leaf Pendant from the new range has been super popular since being added to the Etsy store... I'm tickled pink that the new designs are being received so well!

Little Nest.

A box of new goodies is flapping its wings and making its way to the north west coast of Tasmania, Penguin to be exact - to the cute little home known as "Nest."
I am still to head this far north of our island state to visit Nest. I hope that this will happen in the near future; I might even have to recruit some girlfriends for a day trip - I heard that there is a beautiful delicious spot to eat in Penguin too...
Renaessance - in which Natalie from Nest raves about on Nest's facebook page.
Must. Make. The. Trip. North!

Four Hundred.

This is blog post number four hundred.
How on earth did that happen?

Today I have been flat out in the factory - getting orders done and starting on the masses of making that I have planned for the next Niche: All Wrapped Up event at the beginning of April. I can't believe that is less than six weeks away.
Time, you fly so quick!

That Vintage Loves...

Talented millinery work by Denise and Ian Cole from Canada - their Etsy store is full to the brim with beautiful, delicate feathery pieces for weddings.
I am umming and ahhing over which one to purchase (not that I'm getting married, I am just so in love!) - I am leaning very strongly towards the duck egg blue ones... *swoon*

Tasty Teaser.

Pardon the Pun.

Here is a little preview shot into the recent shoot by Jesse Hunniford from L.U.S.Y
Jesse has teamed up with a friend, Scott; they both use cameras but for different purposes - Scott was in the background filming the happenings of the photo shoot - and I must also commend the models for being so awesome with having so many cameras up in their faces! (You can see a sample of Scott's work here.)

So.
I
love this shot.

You may have noticed that it is totally different to anything That Vintage has had before, but it suits - the label is evolving and you can't expect that what worked previously, will work in the future! The challenge of reinventing a label is a great one. I love a good challenge - a test... and leaving a lot of the creative guts of the photo shoot up to Jesse, was something that I actually enjoyed doing; it was a great test for me, letting go of some control, sitting back and seeing how effortlessly he was working (and the models!) - Jesse was dotting the i's and crossing the t's in such admirable fashion.

If it is at all possible... I think I have a photography crush.
*blushes*

Butter Me Up, Sweetness.

Absolutely adoring the beautiful images over at Winter Love - Nat shared her Valentine's Day with Stella, so very sweet and special for them both. If I wasn't lucky enough to have received beautiful roses from my lover yesterday (what a surprise it was!) I would have gladly joined them - how beautiful!

And my beautiful roses... they look like velvet.
The message in the card was too sweet, far too sweet to share!
Hope you all had a lovely day full of love, gratitude and friendship.

Darling Winner.

That Vintage Loves...

Eye-popping coloured, origami style, polymer clay rings by nomilktoday.
The spunky colours, gemometric shapes and lines are so funky.
Fun and funky.
But I can't decide which one I like the best?!

Picked By The People - Part Eight.

People are loving wood.
This makes me so happy - I love wood too, of course!
The above three treasury lists from Etsy, featuring a piece of That Vintage - are all on a similar wave length - wood and lots of it.
It's great to see the new Woodgrain Stud Earrings being featured quite a number of times!

Would You Be My Valentine.

Totally in love with the beautiful imagery from Lola's Room - how sweet is the above print?

I hope that everyone is lapping up some affection and loving - I also hope you share some of it around to those who might be without, on such a red-rose-sweet-whispering day.
And don't forget... love yourself!

Sweet Feather and Lace.

My beautiful friend Natalie, whom I'm sure you are all familiar with now, took this snap of herself wearing the newest addition to her That Vintage collection - Feather & Lace Birdcage Pendant.
Check out Natalie's blog - winter love.

Behind The Scenes.

Friday night - Oh what a night. It was the photo shoot night - perfect.
After a few sips of "confidence" in the form of delicious beverages, the lovely models (Madeline and Sophie) teased up their hair, clothed themselves in black lace and I decked them out in the new That Vintage pieces.
Jesse Hunniford - the man behind the camera - had the coolest set-up I've experienced so far; his camera was plugged into his laptop, so the images were being transferred instantly - he let us have a few quick looks during the shoot and I was bubbling with excitement from the first look. This fella has some serious talent.

With the jewellery shots being wrapped up after an hour and a half of posing - the girls (plus lovely previous model Claire) got their "play time" on and did some fun shots, ending up in the Three Wise Monkey's pose as seen in the third image above... it took us all a few moments of deliberation to work out the exact order of the pose! (Yes, I know the above image is of them out of order!)

Such fun.
I am busting to see the finished photos!
