Baby Shower

Yesterday, we had Natalie's baby shower - it was so much fun, I was very clucky the whole day! Natalie got some amazing gifts, we played some pretty funny games and ate some very sweet and delicious food.

I ordered some cupcakes done by The Cupcake Fairy - they were GORGEOUS! Nicole did an amazing job, she even let us borrow the cupcake stands for the day - so cute! Definitely would recommend her to any of you wanting something super sweet, amazing and hassle-free!

Share The Love Appeal Has Hit Triple Figures.

Share The Love Appeal has now raised...
$120.00 - how amazing is that!
Would love to see the figure grow bigger and bigger, so keep spreading the word and sharing the love!

You Had Me At Chintz.

Chintz.
I had no idea what this was, or even that there was such a thing that could have such a name.
But after spending Sunday morning with Mother Bear at one our local markets, I scored a free education - and Mother Bear also started off my collection of beautiful things!

I fell in love with this.
The colours are amazing... it is in perfect condition and would look so sweet on a coffee table with a rainbow selection of macaroons or a pile of white mints!
I think I am jumping on the Chintz bandwagon now.
In Love!

Sweet Little Cage Full Of Life.

As you may, or may not know...
I am going to be a...
God-Mother!
My beautiful friend Natalie (pictured above, with moi!) is having a sweet little baby girl at the end of next month - and I was absolutely tickled pink when her and partner Brad (more on him later) asked me to be one of the baby's God-Parents!
Wow! Such an honour!
I am still buzzing!

Of course, before any of this happened, I cheerfully volunteered to do the Baby Shower planning - we are giving Natalie a Tea Party themed baby shower, complete with vintage tea cups, tea pots full of T2 tea and scrumptious delights baked by all of us.

Plus an amazing batch of The Cupcake Fairy cupcakes!
I am drooling at the thought of it all!
Plus some rather hilarious games like... Pin the Sperm on the Egg - yes, you read right!

I picked up this gorgeous birdcage from a new local shop in Launceston called Hope & Me - this will be the centre piece on the table, complete with the astroturf table runner - how cool is that! I promise to post pictures of the event... so excited!

And The Drums Get Louder.

Lucky Number Five!
Yay! Congratulations lovely Charlie!
Everyone loves a Give Away... right?
Stay tuned for the next one - who knows when I may spring it on you!

The gorgeous Krystal from Felix & Lily took a photo of Lilu (a gorgeous kitty whom she is cat-sitting at the moment) modeling some of That Vintage - oh how puuurrfect! Also, check out Felix & Lily's new store on Made It - super cuuuute!

Mother Bear's Birthday

It was Mama Bear's birthday on Monday, so my younger sister Ella and I decided to be in house chefs for the evening. We had some Pink Blush Champagne & Oysters Kilpatrick for entree` - followed by Roast Vegetable Spaghetti for main and Ella baked a Carrot Cake for dessert. It was delish.

I went a bit out there with the table decoration - I had to give the Astroturf a bit of a flatten-out as it was all kinked; Mama Bear and I went to the Evandale Market the day prior and found some pretty retro coloured glassware, in which you can see we placed tea lights in them. Very cute!

My Jewellery Brings All The Boys To The Yard

Here is a photo to prove that That Vintage is not just for the pretty ladies...

This is Mr R.
He bought a lucky lady friend of his the Birdcage Pendant, but also wanted something for himself - so I sat and pondered on this and decided the little Big Friend Little Friend circle design with a brooch clasp on the back, would be boy-ish enough for this hip skater dude who wears pretty funky cardigans, by the looks of things!

I will be listing the new little "unisex" brooch pins in the next week or so - Mr R is going to take some modelling photographs of himself and his pride & joy, so that I can prove to you all that it is true, That Vintage is for all lovers of handmade!

P.S. He is also modelling a beautiful clay tag made by Marley & Lockyer, in which I used on the packaging - cute huh!
