I have finally just finished photographing the new That Geo range!
It was tricky, raw brass and natural light are not the best of friends, but I hope once I spend the next million hours editing the photos that something good will come from the million I took!

Finding and Keeping Ahead.
So happy to announce that That Vintage will be heading over to Melbourne for the Finders Keepers event, 20th & 21st of April!
This is super exciting because flicking back to last year when That Vintage made its debut at the Sydney event, it was a dream come true! Now, for a second time around, it is even more special...
I cannot wait to hang out with all the creative cats and meet some new lovers and the faithful loyal ones!

The Creative Coma.
So much is happening for That Vintage in the coming months, so it is full steam ahead in the studio - yesterday was pendant making day, today it is rings and earrings - plus a few more pendants and brooches.
The repetition of doing the gluing side of things I find relaxing, minus the glue fumes - I'm sipping a cup of T2 French Earl Grey tea and listening to the sounds of Warpaint. There is no need for a "Please Do Not Disturb" sign on my door as it is a well known fact that when the door is shut, hands are busy gluing and making and my mind falls into a creative coma... Oh I love what I do!

Happy Birthday That Vintage.
Four years old tomorrow... a day of love and a day of milestones!
I think it is important to celebrate such events - to acknowledge your love and passion, reflect and look back on where it all began, to create goals and breathe life into future dreams.
When you can create with your hands, your heart and soul will evidently come through in your craft.
I had a miniature celebration, a cup of sweet tea and a cute treat made by The Cupcake Fairy... oh my, it was truly delicious!
The winner of the Single Bird Pendant is Stephanie Arnold - yippee! Thanks to all who have entered the giveaways... there is one more surprise up the birthday sleeve... but you'll have to wait until tomorrow to find out!
Happy Birthday That Vintage - here's to many more!

My Favourite Cuppa And Brew.
So anyone who knows me and knows me well, knows that I am a complete tea addict. I cannot start my day without a drop of tea - when I am blogging, I have tea; when I am reading a book, I have tea... pretty much anything I do, you'll seem me with some tea. Told you, I'm an addict! And as I duck for cover - you will never find me sipping a coffee... it has and always will be tea!
Since becoming a full blown "adventurous" tea addict, my collection of T2 Tea has grown - in actual fact it has taken over the cupboard which houses all of our tea cups. It'd be safe to say that the types of tea outweigh the tea cups. A brew in which I am completely obsessed with lately is Gorgeous Geisha by T2... a green tea that gives the aroma of strawberries & cream ...delish!
Pictured above is my all time favourite tea cup - "Blue Rainbow" by Royal Albert. I have only drank out of it twice - I feel like it is far too precious to make it a regular sipper... or should I?

What Is In The Mix.
The relationship between nature and visual pattern/print making has been one that I have been focusing on lately.
I have absorbed myself in the way in which everything print related, comes about from being inspired by something a little more "down to earth" or with its roots literally stemming from the soil.
In the next release of That Vintage goodness - you'll find oodles of prints and patterns - plus a nod to the Art Deco era within a range of pendants... I'd share more details, but I really want to leave a hint of surprise for you all!
And the winner of the "naming of the earrings" giveaway yesterday was Angela from Yes, Dear blog - she came up with "Valentine Vine" - perfect!

Fresh Little Fox.
Everyone meet sweet Olivia.
Olivia may look familiar to you as she is the lovely Rebecca's twin sister!
Fox and Mint is Olivia's new blog - and it is off to a flying start!
It has scored a space on my "must-read" list and I was truly tickled pink when she posted the link to her "Homage to Handmade" post - in which she modeled the That Vintage Deer Darling Friend ring!
And the winner of yesterday's giveaway of the Iron Dove Pendant is... Steph McNabb! Thanks to all who entered!

Blast From The Past.
My love for Bec Winnel's work continues to blossom and bloom - following her on Instagram is a delight as she posts regular images of work in progress, completed works and experiments with different artistic things - and of course her cute pooches Olive & Charlie and resident sweet feline Audrey!
Going back through some older folders on the Mac, I came across the illustrations that Bec did for That Vintage based on the photographs by Ebony Bejah of model Brooke Saward.
I thought I would share them again!
Bec's facebook page.

Creeping Into A Southern Nook.
Hurrah!
That Vintage goodies are making their way down south this week to Nook in Elizabeth Street, North Hobart.
The lovely Bek has one heck of a sweet shop - so many nooks and crannies (pardon the pun!) to spot beautiful handmade and vintage goods... Bek was also pretty chuffed to announce last week that Nook will be at this coming MOMA Market on Saturday, located at the impressive MONA site in Hobart - so if you are in that neck of the woods, pop along!
