Sometimes I wonder if my love of winter is spawned from the hate of sweat.
Yesterday (and I can feel it today) my fringe went to Munted-Land thanks to the humidity and the sweat beads. What I wouldn't give for it to be so cold, so cold enough to see my breath.
I am super excited for my latest Love-Trade with Rachael of Softspoken - I have been following her blog for a while now and also "hearted" her shop many moons ago. Her skills with the knitting needles (and the odd crochet hook) are so impressive that they make my heart flutter! Rachael's store speaks of it's own success - I mean look at her images and how she portrays her talent - it is such a delight to browse her store... (more to come when the goodies arrive in a few weeks time!)
I wasn't going to jump on the bandwagon, but meh, I did...
This week on Facebook is Doppelganger week - aka: your uncanny resemblance to a celebrity (and apparently you haunt said person, not too sure about the truth behind all of this) ...lots of people have done this; I've got a friend who "Doppelganger's" like Kirsten Dunst, another like Drew Barrymore, a guy who looks like Bruce Willis, a Seth Green is also amongst them too. I decided to not make the decision about whom I have a ghostly-eerie-likeness to, so I put the question to a random person in a random chat room... the result was Zoeey Deschanel. I've actually heard this before... although in some photo's I would beg to differ, nevertheless I am flattered because she is a divine female!
But I would like to see the Celebrities do it the other way - find a "commoner" and put them as their profile picture on Twitter etc... step off that pedestal and give someone else the ghost-light... er.. I mean.. the lime-light.
At the end of the day - you like you.
Even "identical twins" look individual in some ways...
P.S. Don't forget to enter my blog giveaway!
