I love the Easter egg hunt! I like to make little clue cards with pictures on them for the little ones who can't read yet. It's like a treasure hunt, and you get to keep the cool little clue cards as an added bonus at the end :)

Mum made us an easter hunt each year when we were little, but when we got our dog toby... he beat us to each of them. we'd know where the eggs had been - by the scraps of coloured foils littered about the house and garden.

My favorite Easter memory is when we decorate eggs as a family for the "easter bunny" to set out in the morning. I am getting married this year and I am super excited for the moments when we have kids and can continue these fun traditions. Although I read a blog today about a more eco friendly way to decorate eggs..which makes me even more excited!!!

Remember when you still truly believed in magic?
I hold onto a memory of waking up Easter Sunday to what looked like an amazing array of chocolate-y goodies at the end of my bed - who put them there?!
It could only be one person/bunny.....
How wonderful to have such innocent, magical memories to revel in!

I used to love the yellow chicken that you can get with Easter eggs I'd make chicken families( my mum still buys them for me)
and I would save my easter eggs until everyone else had eaten theirs so it would look like I had the most!

My favourite easter memory is when we were staying with some family friends in Adelaide (we're from Wollongong) and I was about 10. The friends made an amazing easter egg hunt. There were four children and we all got a special hand made map of an area of the garden to search with little clues. There were also notes of encouragement from the easter bunny on our journey through the garden. Magical!!

When I was 8 and my younger sister was 6, we shared a room with bunks and a huge, bright yellow rug in the centre of the room. On Easter morning, we woke up and found our eggs at the bottom of our beds and then....on the yellow rug were EASTER BUNNYS footprints. Huge and imprinted! Mum swore she hadnt done it and to this day I cant explain it.....nor do I want to....was and still is such a magical memory.

we used to always go camping at easter and i remember waking up in the tent looking up seeing shadows of autumn leaves on it, hearing currawongs singing and for a few miliseconds remembering there would be chocolate eggs at the end of my bed.

Probably some of my most cherished easter memories are decorating and dying easter eggs, easter food (my family is of hungarian descent so we had a special Easter meal which is actually cold, we used to take it to church to be blessed) and my grandmother's rice krispie treat lamb, complete with green coconut grass and jelly beans! How fun. I love anything dark chocolate but most of all I remember having egg-cracking competitions with our deep red dyed easter eggs (it's a Greek thing). It was so much fun as a kid.

The excitement of waking up at some ridiculous hour and peeking over the corner of the bed to see a little pile of sparkly eggs sitting there, that was magic! I still believe....!

I believe we never stop growing up...last year my step-mum put out eggs in her backyard for my son and niece to find...while waiting for us to arrive her cute little dog, Boo, snuck out the back and snaffled each and everyone! When she told me I couldn't stop giggling! As we all know chocolate can be toxic for dogs, so thankfully Miss Boo survived her egg eating mission!

My Easter memory is delivering a beautiful Cocobean bunny to a dear friend in hospital and being to spend some precious time with her over coffee and a cupcake. What a gift friendship is.

My favourite Easter memory was when my sister and I were very little the Easter bunny came and left an Easter egg hunt. Not only did we get to hunt around the house and garden in our pj's we were helped along the way as the Easter bunny had kindly left hand-written clues and big bunny footprints were cut out in paper! We have a loving and ingenious mother who still makes family celebrations special!

PS I love your wares!!!

We always got roses chocolates for Easter and my favourites are the strawberry and peppermint ones. Fortunately everyone in my family hates those flavours so I would trade chocolates until my box was full of red and green! Then I would FEAST!

I love doing the waster egg hunt with my little ones - the excitement of them running around to find the eggs and then the sparkles in their eyes as they gaze at their stash!
Equal favourite (and a new tradition) is sharing the day with my late father - we visit where his ashes are spread and throw cupcakes, flowers and chocolate for him to 'feast' on - it keeps the kids in touch with him as their poppy and lets him share in the day with us.

Happy Easter! My favourite Easter memory is when my mum made little bunny "footprints" on the floor using baby powder and the look on my kids faces the first time they saw them. They really thought the Easter Bunny had visited:)

My most memorable easter would have to be when my lola (grandma in filipino) snuck chocolate buttons under my pillow the night before (in a small container). I woke up in the middle of the night & felt something weird under my pillow. I felt around & to my surprise found this container full of chocolate buttons so I started eating away! The next morning, my mum screamed when she saw my face. I had fallen asleep while I was munching on the chocolate buttons so my face not to mention my hands & the bed were all covered in melted chocolate! My lola and were in big trouble. I will never forget :)

Theres nothing better on an easter sunday to go for a walk with family and friends in the late afternoon when the sun shines on the autumn leaves, its so beautiful! xx

My favourite thing to do at easter is take a walk. Late afternoon. I find the late afternoon autumn sun lights up the trees so beautifully at easter. It makes dull colours shine and rich colours even richer, seems to penetrate the soul somehow. A beautiful way to reflect on everything that has happened since last easter, tinged with a little bit of sorrow, kindly wisdom of each passing year. I can't help but think one day when i am lucky enough to be a grandmother to some dear child, that i could take a walk at easter and feel exactly the same emotion as i do now.

xo happy easter Soph!

There is nothing better on Easter especially a rainy o ne like this year than drinking tea and gorging on the chocolate that the Easter bunny brought you with your family - which is the common thing to do in our house :) (you end up in a chocolate induced catatonic state hahah)

I'm a fan of those awesome chocolate hot cross buns...mmm yum yum :) accompanied with those small solid eggs from Cadbury's, well that's breakfast sorted!!

one of my most awkward easter memory was when I was 11, mum and dad had bought us the loveliest easter bunnies in a fancy purple cadbury box, and strategically placed it in the garden entry to our house the night before easter. We were so excited to find our goodies that we ran outside in search for them, as mum was giving us a few sneaky hints where they might be. We got outside and went to pull out the chocolate only to find the boxes had been chewed open and the chocolate had been munched on - to the extreme. Turns out possums had found a tasty treat placed in the garden and tore into it! Cheeky buggers. We were pretty sad but mum and dad took us out for a family day. Looking back at it, it was totally the best easter ever. Instead of eating our bodyweight in chocolate, and spending all day digesting it in front of the tv, we all went out for an adventure in the park and did a picnic. Best ever!

My all time FAVOURITE Easter treat is a Humpty Dumpty Egg filled with Beanies, every year I get my husband one for Easter as he LOVES them too - but it was a little to tempting one year, so I carefully scratched a little hole in the back of the egg and ate all of the beanies - then covered it back up and popped it back in its box and presented it to Hubby easter morning hahahaha!
