This design is a little different from the other wooden earrings by That Vintage; rather than encase the feather shape within a circle, I opted to think outside of the "circle" and go more true to shape.  

These are a little smaller when wearing, light weight but super cute!

For me, there is nothing more classic than a dash of lace! 
Classic, girly, vintage... but with a modern twist on the beautiful warm coloured, Tasmanian Myrtle wood.
Lace is timeless, always appreciated and an art form at best.

Spring Blooms And Love Comes In.

I love surprises.
I love beautiful, pretty, special surprises!
The above image was exactly that - a beautiful surprise that landed in my inbox from the talented Lisa Kuilenburg of LisaK Photography.
Do you remember the Autumn photo shoot that Lisa did for That Vintage?  Well, it is pretty obvious to me that Lisa has a personal soft spot for That Vintage - and I love that she loves That Vintage so much!
Yesterday, Lisa felt inspired by the new Spring blossoms that are beginning to bloom, so she stepped outside to take some photographs and this was one that she snapped.
So beautiful!

A Little Bit Tropical.

One hot trend for SS14 is anything tropical, tropicana... and with each day going by, Spring seems to be creeping on in at full pelt - it will only be a matter of time before we sit and swelter through Summer!

Another Year

Can you believe it?  Another year is almost up?
As I wrap up the last of the online sales for the year, I am getting a little bit reflective and thinking back over the past twelve months.
The journey to Melbourne to attend Finders Keepers in the beautiful Exhibition Building at Carlton Gardens, the freezing weekend down at the Seaport for the Apron Design market, the month off both "jobs" and finding my drawing mojo again, the Niche Market in Hobart and Launceston, supplying new stockists and re-filling the old faithfuls, meeting new customers and catching up with the loyal ones... it has been such a whirlwind year, a truly satisfying year.
I look forward to seeing what happens with That Vintage in 2013... but for now, thank you to everyone who has supported That Vintage this year and thus far in its journey.
It'll be five years next February, this calls for celebrations!

Lace Stud Earrings

Who turned off the heat?!
I climbed into bed well after midnight last night (this morning?!) and was shivering beneath the covers, so I did the naughty thing and put my electric blanket on. What is wrong with that, you ask? Well, two days ago it was well over 30C, complete with a bright blue summery sky and the brightest sun going around - minutes beneath it and my skin began to burn! Today there is a blustery icy wind and this can only mean one thing - on go the ugg boots and cardigan whilst I tag up oodles of earrings!
